I never buy buttermilk, so when a recipe calls for some, here’s what I do…
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice OR white vinegar
- 1 cup of milk
- Add lemon juice or vinegar to 1 cup of milk.
- Stir and let stand for about 10 minutes allowing it to curdle.
- Give it a quick stir and it’s ready to use as needed!
